Beautiful 16th Century guest house in Beaulieu idyllically located next to Mill Dam with 3 en-suite guest rooms. Children welcome, well behaved dogs accepted.

The Mill House is one of the oldest buildings in Beaulieu and is ideally situated for exploring the New Forest National Park. The National Motor Museum and Palace House are a short walk across the bridge to our right and to the left is the Montagu Arms Hotel with its bar, restaurant and brasserie. To the front of the house is the Mill Dam - a large lake surrounded with weeds and grassy banks. To the rear of the house is the Beaulieu River, which is tidal and provides an ever changing view.

The Mill House is part of the Beaulieu Estate and occupies a truly beautiful spot in the New Forest. There are a great many dedicated cycle tracks through the forest with clearly mapped routes and cycles can be hired from most towns within the forest. Hacking is also very popular and horses and ponies can again be hired from many stables nearby. If beaches are more your thing then Lepe is 7 miles away and Calshot is 9 miles away. Places of interest to be found nearby include Exbury Gardens, Bucklers Hard and Beaulieu Abbey Church.

Rooms Description

On the first floor of the house are two bedrooms with en-suite facilities; one double and one twin. Both enjoy fine views across the pond and, as this is a family home, there are no TVs or tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms. If you would like a cup of tea please let us know and you are welcome to use the TV in the guest lounge. On the second floor is a twin room with private bathroom and wonderful views down the Beaulieu River. Breakfast is served in the kitchen, in the River Room, or on the patio if the weather is fine.

Children and well behaved dogs are welcome. Smoking is not allowed in the house.
