Welcome to the family run Riviera Hotel situated in the beautiful surroundings of Sandown on the Isle of Wight. Over years of experience we have carefully developed a relaxed and informal atmosphere here at the Riviera Hotel and aim to make your stay with us as pleasurable as possible. Our Bar has a range of lunchtime snacks available that can be purchased, from freshly made sandwiches to rolls, chips and burgers, all at very reasonable prices. Morning coffee and afternoon tea is also available on request. Sandwiches and hot drinks are on offer throughout the evening up until midnight. The bar comes alive at night with live entertainment from approximately 8.30pm. Our friendly restaurant offers a varied and exciting menu with a superb selection of traditional and continental style cuisine. We have a range of vegetarian dishes on offer as well as our self service salad table. We have a reasonablly priced wine list too.

Sandown's long golden sandy beaches offer excellent water sports. Why not have a game of crazy golf or pitch n'' putt? Dinosaur Isle and the zoo with it's famous tiger sanctuary are also in walking distance from the hotel. We have a free car park for our guests. For those people who want to travel the Island by train we are only a short walk from Sandown station, and 100yds from the bus stop from where you can explore our beautiful Island at your leisure.

Rooms Description

The bedrooms at The Riviera are comfortably furnished and decorated. All of our well presented rooms offer a hospitality tray with tea and coffee making facilities, and there are en-suite bathrooms or showers to all of the bedrooms along with colour televisions, central heating and hair dryers. Some of the bedrooms at The Riviera look out towards Culver Cliff and the sea, but these are subject to availability. Some of our bedrooms are located on the ground floor, making us an ideal place for guests who require ease of access to our communal areas.

Families are welcome at The Riviera Hotel and we offer cots and other equipment that may be required for your family. We do ask however, that any special requirements are made at the time of booking to ensure that your stay with us is correctly catered for.
