The Old Chapel was originally built as a Baptist Church around 1836. It has been carefully restored and updated to provide quiet and relaxing Bed & Breakfast accommodation. It is situated opposite the owners’ house on the other side of the courtyard, allowing you complete freedom and independence.

The Old Chapel is in a quiet lane on the edge of Sway village which has its own shops, post office, and an excellent pub. With the New Forest on your doorstep, you can expect to see ponies and donkeys grazing a few yards away. We offer a choice of 2 non-smoking bedrooms with off-street parking. Both have modern en-suite bathrooms, and TV. They share a washing machine/ drier, iron and ironing board. Dogs are generally welcome – please enquire when booking.

Rooms Description

The Family Room is a large and luxurious bed/ sitting room sleeping up to 4 people. A king size double bed can be split into a twin on request, and a comfy sofa converts to a bed. A folding bed for younger children is also available. We can provide a baby's cot on request. The high ceiling and huge decorated glass window make this a distinctive and unique place to stay. A separate kitchenette has a mini-cooker, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and toaster. The Green Room is perfect for couples who just like doing their own thing. It is a light and airy double which sleeps 2 in comfort, with stripped floors and half-lined timber walls. A mini kitchen provides fridge, toaster, kettle, and microwave.
