New Forest ponies roam past the property and from here you can walk directly onto the open forest. Sway has a well stocked general store, butcher's, newsagent, chemist and doctor's surgery in addition to pubs, restaurants and hotels if you decide to eat out. The nearest dog friendly pub to the cottage is a mere 500 yards away. The New Forest village of Brockenhurst is ten minutes drive away, as is Lymington with its Georgian High Street, sailing harbour interesting shops and Saturday market. Lovers of outdoor activities will find no shortage of things to do locally including horse riding, golf, fioshing, cycling, wagon rides and boating and beaches.

There is a galley kitchen with table and chairs to seat up to 6 people and a door leading to a small patio with outdoor furniture. The lawn extends beyond and is the perfect place to relax and unwind on a summer's day. The lounge area is complete with a real open fire, for which the first basket of logs is provided, and there is also a TV, DVD and radio for your entertainment.
