Guests are free to wander in the well stocked gardens which occupy over an acre with an extensive vegetable garden, shrub and herbaceous borders. There is a mulberry tree as old as the house and many interesting trees. There is a swimming pool and trampoline which guests may use. There is easy access to the watermeadows from the house for those wishing to explore further. Twyford House is ideally placed just a few miles from the compact and interesting city of Winchester, whih is packed with historic buildings, museums, family attractions and tranquil green spaces just waiting to be explored.
