Welcome to Cosy Cottage. This self catering Victorian Cottage has just been refurbished to a very high standard and is very dog friendly. Being in the heart of the New Forest, it is perfectly situated and has 2 ensuite bedrooms-sleeps up to 4 people with a choice of Superking, King or single beds. It enjoys a peaceful location just minutes from Lyndhurst village centre and beautiful open forest. The cottage is perfect for couples, families (travel cot/highchair available) or groups. All bedding, towels and utilities are included.

Why not leave your car parked outside the cottage on its own parking strip as the cottage is only a short stroll from the village with a selection of shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs - there's something to suit all tastes. The open forest is less than a minute which is ideal for dog walking or hikes to suit all abilities. If hiking isn't your thing - don't worry, Lyndhurst and the surrounding areas offer many activities for all ages. Try your hand at horse riding, golfing, fishing, cycling, bird watching or simply soak up the beautiful views the area has to offer!

Rooms Description

Cosy Cottage has been recently refurbished to a very high standard with all the modern conveniences you could require. The kitchen has a fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine/tumble drier. Down a couple of steps leading out to the garden, there is a useful boot room, which can also be used for drying wet dogs, with adjoining toilet and basin. The lounge area is complemented by an easy to use electric log burner, perfect for the colder months.There is also a TV with freeview and built in DVD player for your entertainment together with a small library of dvds. Up the traditional cottage staircase, there are two large bedrooms - one with en-suite bath/shower and the other with en-suite shower room. The beds can be arranged to suit your needs ie. Either singles x 4, king or super-kingsize or any combination! All bedding/towels are included. a travel cot/playpen and highchair are available to hire leaving you more space in the car! After a long day exploring the New Forest, why not relax in the dog-friendly fully enclosed courtyard garden.

Specialities

Dogs and families are very welcome. Smokers are also welcome, but smoking is restricted to the garden where ash trays will be provided. The garden has a lockable shed for storing pushchairs, bikes or fishing gear. Celebrating a special occasion - birthday / anniversary etc?. a baby and/or dog sitting service is available to give you the chance to relax and enjoy yourself knowing they are being well cared for, especially if you want to go shopping or sight seeing for the day or enjoy a lovely meal in one of the many restaurants in the evening. Just let us know if you would like any restaurant bookings to be made on your behalf prior to your arrival to avoid disappointment (especially in the summer months).
