The Old Bells B&B, nestling by the New Forest, Hampshire. A 370 year old former village pub, offering en-suite accommodation. Children,dogs and horses welcome.
Built in 1640 the Old Bells is the former village pub with many original features and character. It is reputed to be an old smugglers inn where in days gone past the smugglers would make their way from the local coast to sup their ale. It is set in a lovely village location with easy access to the New Forest and nearby coastal villages. A few miles away is the town of Lymington with its quay, cobbled streets, marina and busy Saturday market. Or in the other direction lies the small town of New Milton which hosts a market on Wednesdays and offers many different local shops. The beaches and New Forest are only a few minutes away with many country pubs offering good food. The Forest has an abundance of beautiful walks or cycle routes where ponies roam freely. For those who love to ride there are many paths and plains to enjoy.

A small friendly B&B offering en-suite accommodation with TV, fridge and beverage trays. Enjoy our famous farmhouse breakfasts using free range eggs from our own chickens, home baked fresh crusty bread, homemade preserves and where possible local produce. Continental and vegetarian options also available. Any special dietary requirements catered for. Breakfast is served in the Inglenook room, with its log woodburner and beamed fireplace. If weather permits why not breakfast on the sunken terrace, a sun trap - you may catch sight of the fluffy chickens that provide the eggs for breakfast!

The bedroom boasts a Sofa, a Kingsize Bed, a Wardrobe, a TV with DVD player, a Fridge and Beverage Facilities. The room has an en-suite shower. There is also a woodburner for a cosy feeling on those chilly winter evenings.

Pets catered for by prior arrangement. Horses are also welcome to come on holiday as Livery available and parking for trailer/horsebox. Camping facilities are available please ring for details.

From M27 junction 1 follow A35 into Lyndhurst. Take A35 out of Lyndhurst towards Christchurch. Continue for several miles until you reach Holmsley Saw Mill. Take the next left towards New Milton and Bashley. At the Rising Sun pub turn left, continue through Tiptoe. At the next crossroads, (the church will be in front of you on a triangle) go straight over and then take the next left - Vaggs Lane. Continue into Hordle. At the roundabout (garage in front of you) turn left - our property will be next door but one to the pub on the right hand side.
